How to apply

A two-stage selection process: dossier evaluation, followed by an interview with the Candidate Selection Committee.

1

Submit your application online

Submit your application electronically through the University of Patras postgraduate portal at matrix.upatras.gr, with all required documents attached. Final-year students may apply provisionally and submit their certificate of completion by 10 August.

2

Dossier evaluation (Stage 1)

The Selection Committee — three faculty members of the programme — verifies completeness and validity of submitted documents. Scoring is based on the degree GPA, marks in undergraduate courses relevant to the programme, undergraduate thesis grade (where applicable), and prior research/professional experience.

3

Interview (Stage 2)

Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by the Selection Committee to assess motivation, scientific background, and capacity to meet the demands of the programme. Interviews may be conducted remotely if appropriate.

4

Results and acceptance

The final list of successful candidates is ratified by the Programme Studies Committee no later than 30 August. Successful candidates have five working days to confirm acceptance in writing.

5

Enrolment

Final enrolment with the Programme Secretariat must be completed by 30 September. Students must renew their enrolment each trimester.
